So Outsourcing is not seen anymore as a tool only for cost cutting but it is being seen as a strategy to gain Control over business, Do better planning and stay on top of deliverables.

Outsourcing - a vantage phenomenon

Fixed Capital : Outsourcing helps you to convert the fixed costs as Fixed Labor costs, Benefits, and infrastructure provisioning into variable costs where you incur expenses only when the work is done for you. So if you are running a transcription company you need not have to keep a big team idle in the early stages of business and instead you can re-direct your capital in the most wanted areas of business promotion.

Core Competence : Even in very efficient operations, not all activities are performed at their premium efficiency levels. Non-core activities are mostly performed by any entity or company at a lower efficiency level compared to their core activities and this results in higher costs. This cost is invariably passed on to the end customer or absorbed by the company thus reducing the profits.

The Right Staffing : Also if attention is to be paid on non-core activities it takes a good share of quality time, to employ personnel for that, train them and so forth. Non-core staffs are supposed to be feeling unsecured and unrecognized in that organization.

Right people doing right job : But a non-core activity of one organization is a core activity of another. This way the peripheral activities can be outsourced, to improve the profits and reduce the cost of service or product to the end-user.

Agility and versatility : Another factor is the Time-to-Market. When new projects or deals are signed, and when scaling up of operations is required, it is often time consuming to identify the right resources; build up a team; train and test; before delivery.
